Gaming Inside: Workplace Safety in Fortnite!

Workplace safety in Fortnite? That’s exactly what we did. 

Together with the IVA (Intercantonal Association for Employee Protection) and Ogilvy Switzerland, we developed a playful campaign around the topic of workplace safety:

“Safety Quest” – part of the “Safe at Work” initiative – as an experience in Fortnite.

Four professions. Two maps. Many challenges.

Each level shows typical risks from everyday working life:
👨‍🍳 At the bakery, you bake different products.
🏥 At the hospital, you take care of patients‘ needs.
🔧 In the workshop and laboratory, you ensure cleanliness and safety.

Players collect points, solve tasks, and learn what’s important in the job along the way.
With a little luck, there was even a PS5 to be won.

The campaign was accompanied by creators who played the maps with their community and it won bronze at the Best of Swiss Web awards. 🥉

Why does it work?
Because learning is more fun – and you can reach young people where they are: in the game.
